Regular business hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health, particularly focusing on the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tailored to their unique needs, goals, and therapeutic preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families, empowering them to understand mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices.

• Continuously monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in interprofessional collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Therapist will work primarily with adults experiencing a range of mood disorders. Our practice caters to a diverse clientele, representing various backgrounds and life experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of New Jersey as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.

• Expertise in mood disorder treatments, especially utilizing modalities like CBT and DBT.

• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology to work effectively in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect with clients and foster therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in outpatient settings with a focus on mood disorders is preferred. Candidates with a proven track record of successful treatment outcomes and those who have participated in ongoing education related to mood disorders will be highly considered.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
