Accounting Assistant

Overview Boston North Properties is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator to oversee daily accounting functions and payroll operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and a solid understanding of accounts payable and payroll processes. Key Responsibilities Maintain general ledger and record financial transactions Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial records Manage accounts payable and receivable Track expenses and ensure proper coding Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting Support budgeting and cash flow tracking Assist with tax preparation and audits Process payroll accurately and on schedule Maintain payroll records and employee compensation data Ensure compliance with payroll taxes, deductions, and wage laws Coordinate payroll approvals with management Qualifications 3+ years of bookkeeping and/or payroll experience. Experience with property management a plus Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently #J-18808-Ljbffr
