Our client, a well-established insurance organization, is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their small, close-knit team. Bookkeeper Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions within the Applied Epic agency management system

• The Bookkeeper will manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

• Maintain accurate financial records, documentation, and account reconciliations

• Support the transition from duplicate QuickBooks and Epic accounting processes toward full Epic utilization

• The Bookkeeper will assist with system optimization, workflow improvements, and process refinement initiatives

• The Bookkeeper will ensure accurate recordkeeping and reporting within accounting systems

Qualifications of the Bookkeeper Role

• Recent hands-on experience using Applied Epic is a huge plus

• Experience with bookkeeping or accounting functions within an insurance agency strongly preferred

• Familiarity with QuickBooks

• Strong organizational and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Professional, flexible, and detail-oriented approach
