Job Description
- This position is currently a TEMP position, but for the right candidate might be made permanent!
- Perform and direct routine and preventive maintenance for all warehouse and office equipment to ensure proper operating conditions. Equipment includes conveyors, racking, lighting, security, forklifts, material handling equipment, fire protection and plumbing systems.
- Maintain logs of all preventive and breakdown maintenance performed on conveyors, forklifts and fire protection systems.
- Perform functions of the department as necessary. Use hand and power tools to make repairs or fabricate parts.
- Frequently lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
- Maintain positive open lines of communication with all management, staff and other departments in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization.
- Ability to cope with a sometimes stressful work environment
Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position
Specific Job Skills :
- Possess good working knowledge of practices regarding hazard communication, chemical usage, material safety data sheets, lock out/tag out, emergency evacuation procedures and emergency generation procedures.
- Possess intermediate computer skills including use of keyboard.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to use repair equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot, solve problems, make decisions independently and with discretion, operate independently, and work effectively under pressure.
- Possess good verbal communications skills.
- Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, sit and stand for extended periods of time, and regularly lift/carry up to 40 pounds.

- Sunday night - Friday morning
- 9:50pm - 6:20am
- $28.50/hr to start
