Accounting Manager

About The Role The Accounting Manager oversees corporate accounting operations, ensuring rigorous adherence to US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting frameworks. This role leads the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes while establishing strong internal controls over financial reporting. The position serves as a key technical resource, scaling accounting workflows and systems to support rapid business growth. The role collaborates closely with external auditors and internal cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely financial statements and disclosures. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end monthly close process, including review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses Prepare comprehensive financial statements and disclosures in strict compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting guidelines Design, implement, and maintain SOX-compliant internal control frameworks across operational and financial cycles Lead technical accounting research on complex transactions and draft accounting position memoranda Optimize ERP and general ledger systems to automate manual tasks and accelerate the close cycle Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and quarterly reviews, ensuring timely delivery of PBC requests What We Are Looking For 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and corporate tech experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA license is required Deep expertise in US GAAP, SOX Section 404 compliance, and SEC reporting requirements Hands-on experience with modern cloud ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or Workday, alongside advanced Excel skills Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of managing audits and writing technical accounting memos Bonus: Experience managing remote teams or supporting a company through an IPO or public company transition #J-18808-Ljbffr Evlo AI
