Office Administrator

$16 - $20 per hour

Stella Maris Montessori is a growing Catholic Montessori school seeking a joyful, organized, and mission minded Office Administrator to join our team. This part‑time position is ideal for someone who enjoys serving families, staying organized, and supporting a joyful Catholic school community. Compensation: $16-20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per week during school hours. Responsibilities Welcome families and visitors with warmth and professionalism Answer phones and respond to emails in a timely manner Schedule and conduct school tours Follow up with prospective families regarding admissions and enrollment Assist with student records and office organization Create and schedule social media posts to promote school events and enrollment Order classroom, office, and cleaning supplies Purchase groceries, classroom materials, and supplies for school events and daily operations Run occasional local errands, such as picking up flowers, supplies, or other items for the school Assist with planning and preparing for school events Support day to day school operations and provide administrative support to the Executive Director Perform other administrative duties as needed The ideal candidate is joyful, dependable, self motivated, and willing to jump in wherever needed. As a small nonprofit school, every team member wears many hats, and we value flexibility, initiative, and a heart for serving children and families.
