2026 Positions Available All positions are seasonal, with some flexibility in the number of hours depending on positions. Employees must be willing and able to work some evenings and weekends, as the pool is a 7 day a week operation. Feel free to ask questions or fill out the employment application. We are looking for responsible employees who can take initiative, communicate with members and guests effectively, and work hard to improve the world around them. Lifeguard Join a fun, well trained team of lifeguards at the best private club. Most are high school or college age, but there is a need for part-time adults to fill in when school is in session so we can continue to keep the pool open for our members. Qualified applicants will be Red Cross Lifeguard Certified and ensure the health and safety of pool patrons through careful observation of the pool and surrounding areas, quick responses to emergency situations, and enforcing the pool rules. Other various duties may be assigned by the pool manager. Northwest will reimburse for required certifications, Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid Training once minimum number of hours have been worked. Swim Lesson Instructors Provide instruction for various levels of swim classes with various ages of participants. Successful instructor candidates must be 16 years old and willing to obtain Red Cross WSI Certification. Check back for information on WSI certification classes at NWSC 2026. Classes run throughout the summer- Monday through Saturdays in both the morning and evenings. Weekday morning classes run from 9:45am to 11:45pm, evening classes 5:30pm to 7:30pm and Saturday/Sunday morning classes as well. Instructors may also provide one on one private lessons with the approval of NWSC management. Instructor pay starts at $20.00 per hour for WSI certified instructors. Instructors must commit to either weekday, evening or weekend classes for the entire season, with subs available on a limited basis. This position is fully staffed for 2026.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under direction of the pool managers, this candidate will help in maintaining a safe environment, as well as acting as a slide monitor on Jaws and/or Fang. These duties will include enforcing all pool rules throughout the facility while adding an extra set of eyes to aid the guards in their duties. Concession Stand This Position is Fully Staffed for 2026.

POSITION SUMMARY

This is a seasonal position, responsible for the operation of the concession stand at the Northwest Swim Club.
