Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client while adhering to best practices in mental health.

• Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) software efficiently to manage client information, documentation, and progress notes while maintaining confidentiality.

• Engage in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance professional development and improve therapeutic interventions.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and all confidentiality requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on serving a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. You will be instrumental in providing bilingual therapy services (Spanish and English), ensuring that language barriers do not hinder access to quality mental health care. Your work will involve addressing a wide array of issues, such as trauma, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ concerns, and perinatal mental health, all within a culturally respectful framework.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT license to practice in Illinois.

• Proficient in both written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapy in a mental health setting, delivering care to diverse populations.

• Demonstrated understanding and appreciation of cultural sensitivities and individual family customs.
\n
• Training in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR is preferred.

• Ability to work part-time evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.

• Active participation in compliance with state and federal regulations, particularly HIPAA.

Compensation and Benefits\n

At High Point Family and Marriage Counseling, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 105,000 annually, plus additional bonuses.
