Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their intensity, frequency, and duration, to inform treatment decisions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are aligned with clients’ unique goals and preferences, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Utilize effective therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client engagement and promote healing.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, addressing treatment options and strategies for self-care, fostering a deeper understanding of mood disorders.

• Regularly assess client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes and ensure continued growth.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, addressing both mental and emotional aspects.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals who experience mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also provide support to vulnerable populations including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, keenly understanding their unique challenges and paths to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
