Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and complexity of clients' mood disorder symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the specific needs, preferences, and goals of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist clients in navigating their challenges.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to foster empathy and understanding.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clientele may include marginalized groups, such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. This diverse patient population requires respect, understanding, and tailored treatment strategies to address their unique struggles and promote recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
