Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and individual needs.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address client concerns.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
\n
• Track client progress through consistent monitoring and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other health care providers to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices related to mood disorders to continually improve treatment outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and engage in ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for clients’ needs and contribute to efforts aimed at reducing mental health stigma within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our diverse clientele ranges from adolescents to adults, many of whom are navigating personal challenges that affect their mental health and overall well-being. Your role will be to empower these individuals through therapeutic support that promotes recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
