Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the frequency, intensity, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, preferences, and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress diligently, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care when needed.

• Stay current with evolving research in mood disorder treatment effectiveness to continuously enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Inner Journey Wellness Center, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your role will focus on vulnerable populations, including individuals who may also be homeless, refugees, or survivors of domestic abuse. This diverse client base requires sensitivity, understanding, and a commitment to fostering trust and safety in therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
