Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with clients' individual goals, preferences, and mental health needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address client concerns.

• Offer education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, self-care practices, and available treatment options.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients requiring multidisciplinary support.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to refine treatment approaches.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will be instrumental in providing therapeutic interventions to a complex client base that includes vulnerable populations, such as victims of domestic abuse, refugees, and individuals experiencing homelessness. Your compassionate approach will play a vital role in fostering trust and healing as clients navigate their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
