Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate the severity and frequency of clients' mood disorder symptoms, developing an in-depth understanding of their unique experiences.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Regularly monitor and document client progress and modify treatment plans as needed to respond dynamically to client needs.

• Facilitate psychoeducation sessions for clients and their families on mood disorders and provide them with effective self-care strategies.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and support staff, to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Stay current on research and developments in the field of mental health to enrich therapeutic interventions and improve patient outcomes.

• Advocate for clients’ needs within the healthcare system and work towards reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops to enhance skills and share insights.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve primarily consist of individuals facing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, our services extend to vulnerable populations, including those experiencing homelessness, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
