Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. You will be part of an outpatient setting where you interact with clients via telehealth sessions, as well as in-person meetings, when necessary. Our clinic supports a culture of independence where therapists can manage their schedules and maintain a balanced work-life ratio. The work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ideal for those who appreciate a structured routine while having the freedom to tailor their approach to client sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of mental health diagnoses and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of your clients.

• Maintain a client caseload of 25-30 sessions per week, ensuring high-quality care and documentation that adheres to clinic policies.

• Deliver exceptional customer service while working closely with interdisciplinary teams, including case managers and medical personnel, to support client treatment objectives.

• Innovate therapeutic interventions that reflect a creative approach to reach and exceed client engagement and recovery goals.

• Prepare and submit detailed clinical documentation, including session notes and treatment plan updates, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Facilitate communication among clients, family members, and other involved parties to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Village Behavioral Health Clinic, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, couples, and families. Your expertise will help address a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and substance abuse. You will be responsible for fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and empowered on their journey towards mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of family therapy principles, community resources, and the billing process.

• Prior experience in completing diagnostic assessments (DAs), treatment plans, and clinical case notes.

• Experience working with diverse demographics, especially children, adolescents, couples, and families.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and show cultural competency when working with clients from various backgrounds.

• Willingness to undergo a thorough background check.
