Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments utilizing biopsychosocial evaluations to determine client needs, diagnoses, and treatment goals.

• Facilitate both group and individual therapy sessions, applying evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to clients’ specific situations.

• Draft and maintain comprehensive treatment documentation, ensuring timely completion of progress notes, goal settings, and discharge plans that align with company policies.

• Collaborate with clients to establish effective aftercare plans, setting them on a path toward sustained mental health post-discharge.

• Engage in regular consultation and communication with family members, referring clinicians, and other stakeholders to promote continuity in client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work predominantly with individuals and families navigating a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Your work will be pivotal in supporting clients who may be experiencing significant life transitions or difficulties related to their emotional and behavioral health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in New York.

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting working with diverse populations with mental health and behavioral challenges.

• Proven ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to confidentiality requirements.

• Superior oral and written communication skills, with a knack for empathetic engagement.

Compensation and Benefits\n
