Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mood disorder symptoms, evaluating severity and progression.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care techniques.

• Track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure a tailored approach that meets evolving needs.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to enhance integrated care.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to remain updated on the latest research in mood disorder treatment.

• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical documentation standards, ensuring confidentiality and thorough record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. As part of our ongoing commitment to community health, we also serve vulnerable populations, including individuals facing homelessness, domestic violence survivors, and refugees seeking mental health support. The therapist's role will be instrumental in helping these individuals navigate their challenges and facilitate pathways towards recovery and stability.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
