Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorders and develop personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support client progress.

• Provide education to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to foster insight and resilience.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic treatment approach, ensuring comprehensive care.
\n
• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to refine treatment strategies and enhance patient care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training to further develop your skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs while working to reduce stigma associated with mental health challenges within the community.

Your primary focus will be on clients dealing with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
