Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups in accordance with department protocols.

• Triage care and develop clinically appropriate intervention plans based on client needs.
\n
• Documenting assessments and treatment interventions while maintaining effective communication with interdisciplinary teams during meetings such as patient rounds.
\n
• Utilizing your expertise to address the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of your patients.
\n
• Providing case management services, collaborating with community resources and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for your patients.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailored to the individual service plans of clients.

• Completing ethical documentation within the required timeframe to ensure compliance with departmental standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals of various ages and backgrounds who are navigating mental health challenges. This position requires empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health issues. Your role is pivotal in not only providing therapy but also in empowering patients to engage in their healing journey actively.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a relevant professional license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Willingness to commit between 10 to 40 hours of direct therapy sessions each week.

• At least two years of clinical experience providing therapy in a mental health setting, preferably in outpatient care.
