- Performing thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (based on credentials)
- Providing education to patients and families on preventive measures, wellness tips, and disease management strategies
- Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments within your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-up and management of chronic care
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Massachusetts
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical skills along with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Strong communication capabilities with patients, families, and medical staff
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced, patient-focused settings
- Proficiency with EMR systems and ease of use with telehealth technologies
- A teamwork-oriented attitude and commitment to evidence-based practices
