EHS Specialist (Compliance/Manufacturing)

We are recruiting for an EHS Specialist supporting a manufacturing operation in the Elgin / Huntley, IL area

This role leans heavily toward the environmental side of EHS

hazardous waste, solvents, wastewater, air permits/emissions, regulatory compliance, reporting and audits. You'll also stay close to the plant floor, supporting inspections, training, LOTO and day-to-day safety needs. The formal role is responsible for regulatory compliance, EHS audits, environmental reporting, hazardous-material handling and employee training.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Manufacturing EHS experience — ideally in a high-speed environment
• Strong environmental compliance experience
• Exposure to air, waste, water, hazardous materials and regulatory agencies
• Experience supporting internal/external audits
• A related bachelor's degree
• The ability to work independently, stay organized and communicate from the plant floor to leadership
