SNAP® Site Supervisor (300085)

LSF is looking for a talented ­­­­­­­­­­­­­SNAP® Site Supervisor who wants to make an impact in the lives of others.

Purpose and Impact:

The SNAP® Site Supervisor is responsible for the administration, supervision, implementation, and operational oversight of the SNAP® Boys and Girls Program, including staff leadership, program fidelity, contract compliance, stakeholder collaboration, and program performance monitoring. Ensures effective delivery of services through supervision of staff, quality assurance activities, and adherence to agency, contractual, and evidence-based program requirements.

Essential Functions:  

  • Directly supervises assigned staff and exercises authority or substantial influence regarding hiring, performance evaluation, disciplinary action, promotion, and termination decisions.  
  • Provides leadership, direction, and performance management for assigned program staff.  
  • Exercises independent judgment in program operations, staffing coordination, service delivery oversight, and problem resolution.  
  • Monitors program outcomes and implements operational improvements to ensure program effectiveness and compliance.  
  • Administers budget monitoring, resource allocation, and utilization of program resources.  
  • Develops and implements operational procedures consistent with agency and contractual requirements.  
  • Represents the program in community partnerships, interagency coordination, and external stakeholder meetings.  
  • Develops and ensures the implementation of an annual SNAP® work plan; participates in long¬ term planning.  
  • Maintains regular communication with designated Florida Network Staff for program consultation and fidelity adherence monitoring for the SNAP® program.  
  • Completes SNAP® Facilitator Training and all other required trainings.  
  • Oversees delivery and fidelity of SNAP® group services and provides coaching, supervision, and quality assurance support to program staff.  
  • Responsible for coordinating with schools in order to be able to deliver the SNAP® in Schools curriculum in 13-week cycles.  
  • Ensures that team pre and de-briefing meetings occur for each group session with all SNAP® Team member facilitation groups.  
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the SNAP® BOYS and GIRLS and ensures the day to-day operation of Program.  
  • Oversees timely and accurate program documentation, data reporting, and compliance with agency and contractual reporting requirements.  
  • Ensures quality assurance and compliance standards for client documentation and case records.  
  • Ensures through the supervision of the staff responsible for volunteer coordination the selection, supervision and evaluation of volunteers.  
  • Liaises with relevant community agencies and maintains ongoing contact with Law Enforcement Agencies, Child Welfare Agencies, School Boards and other relevant stakeholders.  
  • Submits monthly invoice documents as required; monitors professional quality and maintenance of record keeping consistent with regulations and agency policies.  
  • Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned.  

Physical Requirements:  

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.  
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of materials weighing up to 25 pounds (e.g., food boxes, promotional materials, supplies).  
  • Manual dexterity required to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, copier, telephone).  
  • Ability to travel to and from multiple SNAP site locations, which may include driving or using public transportation.  
  • Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing stairs in community and outreach settings.  
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, including indoor office settings and outdoor event spaces, sometimes in varying weather conditions.  
  • Visual and auditory ability to effectively communicate with clients, volunteers, and team members.

Education:  

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or relevant human service degree required;  Master’s degree is preferred.  

Experience:  

Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in behavioral health, juvenile justice, social services, or related human services programs, including program administration, staff supervision, or operational oversight experience.  

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  

  • Communications Skills : Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are essential.  A solid knowledge of the rules of grammar and punctuation are required.  
  • Computer Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic data management systems required.  
  • Analytic Ability : Must have knowledge of methods of compiling.  Must have knowledge of problem solving techniques.   
  • Interpersonal Skills : Must display professionalism in the day-to-day operations of the office, which includes response to feedback, direction, suggestions, accepting responsibility, working as a team player, volunteering when needed, reporting whereabouts, promoting a cohesive working environment.  Must also display professionalism in communications and on-going working relationship with outside agencies and organizations.  
  • Ability to work nontraditional business hours including evenings when Groups are scheduled.  

Other:  

  • Must demonstrate sensitivity to our service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs.  
  • Adherence to Florida Law including but not limited to statute FS 744.  

Principal Accountabilities:  

  • Maintain an accurate account of activities in the client logs and case notes for each ward.  
  • Must work well independently, as well as get along well with all other staff and outside contacts.  
  • Accurate, complete and timely submission of all required court reports required under FS 744.  
  • Professionalism in all LSF matters.
