With a focus on collections and customer service, you'll play a key role in managing accounts receivable and resolving billing issues. Key Responsibilities
- Daily review and management of accounts receivable aging reports.
- Maintain detailed notes on customer accounts and collection processes.
- Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email to resolve billing issues and improve customer relations.
- Identify and escalate issues contributing to account delinquency.
- Monitor assigned accounts and collection reports, ensuring timely follow-up on payment arrangements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a collections role or similar position.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with collection software such as PeopleSoft or NetSuite.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Preferences
- Prior corporate business-to-business collections experience.
- Associate degree or higher in Business or equivalent.
- Experience with Sage ERP system.
