Cyber RF Software Engineer Senior Staff

You will work with cybersecurity experts on the forefront of threat protection and proactive prevention in a fast‑paced, real‑world environment. Responsibilities Consult on and analyze user requirements and translate that information into build software design and performance requirements. Design, develop, and code new software as well as modify existing code to add new features. Debug existing software and correct defects, ensuring reliability and efficiency. Recommend improvements for documentation and software development process standards. Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments, requiring deep understanding of C++, Kubernetes (K8), Python 3.0, GIT, and CI/CD pipelines. Follow Agile Sprint Development methodologies and support projects involving Digital Signal Processing and related RF technologies. Qualifications Active security clearance with polygraph. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a DSP focus from an accredited institution. Equivalency: MS in Engineering/CS + 2 years experience OR 4 years DSP experience + high school diploma. Minimum 12 years of experience developing DSP algorithms on projects following established software processes. Minimum 12 years of professional programming experience using C++, Linux, Python (or comparable languages). Additional expertise (preferred but not required): RF software development (≥4 years). Experience with Kubernetes/CI‑CD pipeline implementation. Git version‑control. Agile/Sprint development methodology. Digital Signal Processing techniques, including short‑burst/hopping signal detection, energy detection, channelization, and digital signal synthesis. Desired Skills Programming Languages: C++ experience, Python 3.0 experience. DevOps and Cloud Technologies: Kubernetes (K8) experience, CI/CD pipeline experience. Version Control and Collaboration: GIT experience. Software Development Methodologies: Agile / Sprint Development experience. Digital Signal Processing (DSP) – Signal Experience: DSP (Digital Signal Processing), Short Burst Duration/Hopping DSP detect / processing/MUX Signals, Energy Detection / Channelization, DSS (Digital Signal Synthesizer), RF protocol experience (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LTE, 5G), RF Applications experience, RF Signal Processing experience. Current US Security Clearance. Clearance Level TS/SCI with Polygraph. Compensation The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC is $150,800 - $265,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Salary is a general guideline; factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, key skills, and market considerations are considered in offers.
