Principal, Engineering Project Management- Level 6

Description Engineering Project Manager (EPM) Principal on the F-22 Line of Business Engineering (LoBE) team. Accountable and responsible for cost, schedule, and performance of the F-22 software development contract. Responsibilities Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of F-22 engineering projects. Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Plan and formulate engineering program and organize project staff according to requirements. Assign project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project. Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects with internal and external partners and customers. Responsible for data analytic efforts and generating program metrics. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of project/program management in software development or DevOps environments Strong understanding of software build, test, and deployment pipelines Final SECRET security clearance Desired Skills: Experience with EVMS and/or CAM Proven delivery of large‑scale CI/CD or release‑automation Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) Experience with version control (Git) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities Ability to influence without direct authority Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills Security Clearance & Citizenship Must be a US Citizen. This position requires a Secret clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access.
