This is a MedSurg/Telemetry RN position requiring strong cardiac monitoring, medical-surgical, stroke, IV medication, and acute-care nursing skills.

Facility: 207 beds | No Trauma | Non-Teaching | Chest Pain & Stroke Center
Unit: 3N Medical Telemetry – 31 beds
Experience: 18+ months Med/Tele RN
Ratios: RN 1:5–6 (surge 1:7–8) | CNA 1:6–12
Patient Types: Renal/PD, fluid overload, sickle cell, DM, AMS, cellulitis, diabetic ulcers, pancreatitis, behavioral health
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
EMR: Epic
Equipment: Alaris pumps, Omnicell, Philips monitors
Skills: Tele/rhythm interpretation, stroke care, trach, PIV, chest tubes, NGT, drains/tubes, Foley, PCA, cardiac drips, heparin, blood products
Floating: Required to other Mercy/region facilities within scope
Schedule: Every other weekend | No call | 75% holidays
Orientation: NEO + 2 days departmental
Scrubs: Navy
Parking: Free
Radius Rule: Permanent address must be 50+ miles from home unit
First-time Traveler: Not preferred, but may be considered
