Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial or large-scale equipment. This on-site role requires a safety-focused professional who is meticulous in their work, communicates effectively, and collaborates well with teammates in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should bring several years of industrial maintenance or related mechanical experience, with backgrounds such as HVAC or other equipment repair also considered. Experience working with tools, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and following safe work practices is essential, while OSHA training is a strong plus. The position may require overtime, weekend, or off-schedule hours as needed to support operations and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is properly maintained that safety features are operational, and daily inspections are conducted
• Perform equipment maintenance (Presses, Mixers, Feeders, Dosing, Forklifts, Pushers, Vacuums, Shredders, Augers, Screeners, etc.)
• Maintain PM and inspection records for all equipment
• Perform mold maintenance
• Repair equipment and tooling
• Ensure adequate replacement parts, consumables, tooling and fixtures are available
• Tooling assembly
• Welding (preferred)
• General fabrication (hand tools)

Schedule:

• Schedule starts as Monday-Friday, day shift.
• Some projects may require overtime, weekends, or off schedule hours as needed.
• On-call status may be assigned on weekends dependent on projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Industrial Maintenance technician experience
• 3+ years safety involvement
• 5 + years mechanical experience (hydraulics, electric motors, 480 v, conveyance, vacuum systems, automation)
• Troubleshooting of industrial equipment
• Ability to read and understand engineered drawings and schematics
• Ability to work in a multi shift manufacturing setting, including lifting 50lbs
• Extensive experience with all types of tools
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic startup
• Microsoft Office, Excel, Word Google Apps & Email
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and work platforms, utilize fall protection gear
• Great attitude and team player!

Preferred Skills:

• Must be able to prioritize tasks and work both independently and with others
• Welding experience
• Overhead crane use, repair and troubleshooting
• PLC/Automation experience

Compensation

Pay scale varies based on experience $32-$37 per hour, with the opportunity for overtime. Stock Options, Medical/Dental, PTO. In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Pretred provides a good-faith estimate of compensation for this role. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, and qualifications. The position is eligible for commission and standard company benefits (health, dental, vision, PTO).
