Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to take on impactful roles in a supportive school setting on a contract basis. Bring your expertise to onsite assignments supporting both primary and elementary campuses, working collaboratively with dedicated educators and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants. These positions are ideal for professionals who value the diversity of school environments while focusing on assessment and case management responsibilities.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold current SLP licensure in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
- Comfort with conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations
- Experience facilitating ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings desirable
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite supervision and guidance to assigned SLPAs
- Complete speech-language evaluations for students at primary and elementary campuses
- Facilitate and participate in ARD meetings, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely submission of evaluation reports
- No direct therapy required—focus is on supervision and evaluation
