Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and intricate clinical laboratory tests-covering areas like chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Document all procedures meticulously, assist in training new team members, and help uphold established lab quality standards.
• Ensure a hygienic and safe workspace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, accompanied by preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
