Job Title: Reno Technician - Anaheim
Job Description

This role focuses on renovating vacant apartments in the Anaheim area as part of a two-person team. You will perform a variety of basic trades tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and drywall repair, to prepare units for new residents. The position requires hands-on work with hand and power tools and the ability to complete projects efficiently, safely, and with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Renovate vacant apartments as part of a two-person team, ensuring units are ready for occupancy within required timelines.
• Perform basic plumbing tasks, including removing and installing faucets, replacing shower heads, and ensuring fixtures operate correctly.
• Carry out basic electrical work such as installing ceiling fans and related fixtures in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Complete basic carpentry tasks, including installing baseboards, door casings, and other finish carpentry components.
• Patch drywall, including repairing small holes and replacing sections of drywall when necessary, to achieve a smooth, paint-ready surface.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively, including sawzalls, cordless drills or impacts, and finish nail guns.
• Assist with framing and other structural carpentry tasks as needed during unit renovations.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards, cleanliness, and proper functionality of all installed components.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area within each unit and shared spaces.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with your teammate and site personnel to coordinate tasks and resolve issues during renovations.

• Experience with framing and finish carpentry in residential or apartment settings.
• Comfort working across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall.
• Ability to follow directions, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively during unit turns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during renovations.

Work Environment

This role is based on-site in vacant apartment units in the Anaheim area, working primarily in a hands-on, construction and renovation environment. You will work in teams of two, using a variety of hand and power tools such as sawzalls, cordless drills or impacts, and finish nail guns to complete unit turns. The work involves moving between units, working indoors in partially finished or unoccupied spaces, and performing tasks that may require standing, bending, and lifting materials or equipment. Safety practices and proper tool handling are essential, and you can expect a practical, trades-focused setting with a strong emphasis on completing quality renovations efficiently.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, CA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
