The role supports residents according to their individualized treatment plan, focusing on personal care services, environmental intervention, and limited group social and recreational treatment activities. Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications, documenting in medical charts and count sheets per established procedures, assisting clients with medication self‑administration, transporting clients as needed, and maintaining compliance with productivity standards. The position is under the AFSCME bargaining unit. Training Program With our MHACBO‑accredited training program, you will earn CEUs toward applicable mental health certifications while attending required paid training and receiving qualified clinical supervision. Work Schedule Friday through Monday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (Part time, swing) What You’ll Make Starting at $22.50–$23.88 per hour DOE/Credentials. Differentials: Night Shift (NOC) Differential: additional $3.00 per hour for hours worked between 10:00 pm and 8:30 am, if at least 2.5 hours of the shift are within this period. Secure Program Differential: additional $2.00 per hour for all hours worked in an eligible CCS secure program. Bilingual Differential: additional 5% pay differential for employees who meet the qualifications of the CCS Language/Bilingual Program. About the Program River Bridge is a secure, co‑ed, 16‑bed program serving adults living with mental illness, offering multiple therapeutic areas and a large private backyard for recreational activities. What You’ll Need Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate registration through the MHACBO. Eligibility requires one of the following: At least a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science (psychology, counseling, social work, human development, or related field). Or at least three years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting. Or an equivalent combination of behavioral science education and satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training. Will be required to register as a QMHA‑R through MHACBO during the first week of employment. Driving is an essential function. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver’s license from their state of residence (or obtain one within 30 days of hire), maintain a safe driving record, and pass a DHS criminal background check. Physical demands: frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds; occasionally use ladders, squat/kneel, perform other physical tasks; must complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings requiring hands‑on techniques and client transfers.
