Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while remaining integrated within a supportive team at our Hospice Center. We foster a collaborative atmosphere amongst our therapists, where you can readily share insights and strategies. While the majority of your work will occur remotely, your engagement with the broader team is key to providing holistic care. Additionally, there are opportunities to participate in occasional in-person team meetings and training sessions to enhance collegial support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health evaluations to identify clients' needs, which will inform individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families using a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, case managers, and healthcare professionals to facilitate comprehensive care and resource sharing for clients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention support, employing de-escalation techniques and therapeutic interventions for clients in acute distress or emergency situations.
\n
• Engage in outreach initiatives such as workshops and community presentations to promote mental health literacy and reduce stigma regarding mental illnesses.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with a wide-ranging client population including adults and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and other mental health issues. We value cultural competence and seek counselors who are skilled at working with diverse backgrounds, ensuring that care is inclusive, sensitive, and effective for all clients.

Qualifications\n

• A valid, independent, and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• Completion of a master’s or doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.

• Demonstration of exceptional communication and interpersonal skills essential for building strong therapeutic relationships.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to document client interactions and treatment plans accurately and timely.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in remote counseling practice and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
