NA Sr. Manager, Category Strategy

Job Title: NA Sr. Manager, Category Strategy – Personal Care Location: New York, NY Travel: 25% of time Hybrid: Work in-office 4 days a week (Monday–Thursday) and remotely as needed. Responsibilities Leverage insights and analytics to articulate category, segment, and occasion trends. Strategically plan for new and existing assortment. Provide customer‑specific recommendations based on shopper data, insights, and point‑of‑sale data. Represent customer and field sales teams as their voice to headquarters functions. Align and partner with sales teams to identify needs, timing, distribution, and execution plans. Produce and sell the annual category strategy. Interpret, integrate, and communicate shopper behavior, insights, and POS data to drive category solutions. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Insights, Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, and Sales. Lead by influencing agendas through collaboration, negotiation, and thought leadership. Identify opportunities to improve and implement creative solutions. Apply knowledge of physical and digital environments in translating category strategy. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 8+ years of experience in consumer, shopper insights, shopper behavior, and/or category management. Experience working with shopper behavior data (Luminate, Dunnhumby, ExtraCare, 1010, etc.). Experience working with household panel data (Numerator, Nielsen Panel, etc.). Preferred Qualifications Experience with syndicated services (Nielsen, IRI). Experience in consumer product goods. Experience on cross‑functional teams. Experience in omnichannel/eCommerce environments, translating strategies across physical and digital touchpoints. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $124,000.00 – $174,000.00 USD. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit‑sharing, and long‑term incentives.
