Available Locations Austin, US New York, US San Francisco, US About The Role Cloudflare is looking for a Strategy Manager to join the Developer GTM Strategy & Incubation team. This person will help plan and execute high-priority GTM programs across Cloudflare, turning key market, events, and customer moments into coordinated engagement. The Developer GTM Strategy & Incubation function exists to evolve the way the Developer GTM team works, designing systems, processes, and GTM motions that accelerate consumption at Cloudflare. A core part of that work is helping teams operate with shared context, clear priorities, strong execution, and consistent follow-through across varying cross-functional teams in GTM. We're looking for someone with a strong background in strategy, business ops, or revenue ops. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves solving ambiguous problems, and can balance multiple priorities across cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Translate priorities into plans: Partner with Developer GTM leadership to turn strategic priorities into clear work streams, owners, milestones, decisions, and success measures. Partner across high-priority GTM programs: Own or co‑own planning and execution for programs such as Cloudflare Connect, SKO, Build Week‑style initiatives, innovation weeks, enablement programs, leadership off‑sites, and cross‑functional planning cycles. Build cross‑functional alignment: Act as connective tissue across Developer GTM, Product, Marketing, Sales, Enablement, Growth, Community, technical teams, and other partners. Keep teams aligned on goals, sequencing, messaging, tradeoffs, and follow-through. Narrative Building: Translate priorities into clear internal narratives, leader talking points, field enablement, team‑wide updates, and practical guidance that helps teams understand what is changing and how to act on it. Support broader Strategy & Incubation work: Lead high‑priority projects across Developer GTM, support team planning and process improvements, and incubate new motions until they are clear, measurable, and ready for durable ownership. Examples of projects this person may own Build the Developer GTM strategy and execution plan for Cloudflare Connect or SKO. Create the planning rhythm, narrative, and follow‑up model for a Build Week‑style program. Partner with Enablement to turn a leadership priority into field‑ready messaging, manager guidance, and follow‑up actions. Create a cross‑functional operating plan for a priority GTM initiative spanning Product, Marketing, Sales, and technical teams. Build a lightweight process for leadership planning, stakeholder updates, decision tracking, and retrospectives. Desirable Skills, Knowledge, And Experience 6+ years of experience working in roles like GTM strategy, business operations, chief of staff, strategic programs, consulting, or a similar cross‑functional role. Experience driving complex initiatives across Sales, Product, Marketing, Enablement, technical teams, and executive stakeholders. Strong judgment and the ability to simplify ambiguity into a practical plan. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn leadership direction into clear narratives, operating plans, and stakeholder updates. Strong program management skills, including ownership of timelines, work streams, dependencies, risks, readouts, and follow‑through. Experience planning or leading high‑impact GTM programs such as SKOs, customer events, launches, enablement programs, leadership off‑sites, or cross‑functional planning cycles. High ownership and strong bias for action. This person should be comfortable pushing work forward without perfect information and aligning teams without direct authority. Strong business acumen and comfort using data to define success metrics, track impact, and make tradeoffs. Curiosity about technical products, developer platforms, consumption‑led GTM motions, and how Cloudflare brings new ideas to market. What Success Looks Like High‑priority Developer GTM programs have clear goals, owners, narratives, timelines, and follow‑through. Developer GTM leadership has a trusted partner who can turn priorities into coordinated cross‑functional execution. Events, enablement, communications, and internal initiatives are connected to the broader GTM strategy instead of operating as disconnected projects. Cross‑functional partners understand what Developer GTM is prioritizing, why it matters, and what they need to do next. Ambiguous priorities move into execution faster, with clearer ownership, cleaner stakeholder alignment, and better organizational learning. Compensation Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location. For Bay Area based hires: Estimated annual salary of $161,000 - $221,000 For NYC based hires: Estimated annual salary of $153,000 - $210,000 Equity This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
