Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Home Health RN with OASIS and Kinnser/WellSky experience to serve patients in their residences across Fairfax County.

Details

• Home health setting providing in-home patient care including wound care and medication administration
• Caseload of 4-6 patients per day, averaging 25-30 visits per week to total 40 hours weekly
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:30am-5:00pm
• Coverage area includes Fairfax County and the city of Falls Church
• Must be willing to travel up to 50 miles outside the home base
• Weekend requirements vary and should be discussed during interview
• Occasional on-call rotations required, details discussed during interview
• Uses Kinnser (WellSky) charting system

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience required
• OASIS experience required
• Kinnser (WellSky) charting experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Reliable transportation required for mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate (excluding travel to first patient or return home)

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing care including wound care and medication administration to patients in their homes
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable for dress code
• RTO requests must be submitted and approved at time of initial consideration; no additional time off approved after offer
• Cannot request off every holiday
• Call-outs require more than 24 hours advance notice
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius accepted at the local rate
