Overview:

\n

The Project Manager I serves as an entry-level independent project leader responsible for managing the full lifecycle of assigned projects, from kickoff through closeout, under the guidance of a Program Manager. This role ensures projects meet schedule, scope, and financial expectations while learning to manage client communication, vendor coordination, and change control processes. PM I builds foundational project leadership skills and serves as the gateway into advanced project management and portfolio ownership.

Responsibilities:

Project Execution & Coordination

\n

\n
• Manage day-to-day execution of assigned projects and client accounts in alignment with defined scope, timelines, and quality standards. Portfolio size of approximately up to $850k.
\n
• Coordinate project activities across internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project deliverables.
\n

Planning, Scheduling & Budget Support

\n

\n
• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, budgets, and deliverables under the guidance of the Program Manager.
\n
• Monitor project progress against approved plans and escalate variances as appropriate.
\n

\n

Stakeholder Communication

\n

\n
• Communicate proactively and professionally with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment, manage expectations, and resolve issues.
\n
• Serve as a point of contact for routine project-related communications.
\n

\n

Risk & Issue Management

\n

\n
• Identify project risks, issues, and interdependencies; communicate findings to leadership in a timely manner.
\n
• Support mitigation planning and corrective actions as directed.
\n

\n

Financial Tracking & Documentation

\n

\n
• Ensure timely and accurate updates within the ERP system and supporting documentation for cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
\n
• Maintain organized project records in accordance with company standards and compliance requirements.
\n

\n

Continuous Improvement & Closeout

\n

\n
• Participate in post-project reviews to document lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvement.
\n
• Contribute insights to improve project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
\n

\n

Experience and Skills

\n

\n
• 2+ years of experience in project management or a similar role
\n
• Proven ability to manage projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
\n
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
\n
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
\n
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
\n
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus)
\n
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
