Office Administrator
TransGrid Energy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance. The Office Administrator will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, providing support to our management team and enhancing the office's daily operations.
Responsibilities include managing and coordinating office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow; handling general office duties, including answering phone calls, managing emails, scheduling meetings, and organizing office supplies; assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence; maintaining an organized and professional office environment; supporting HR functions such as preparation of onboarding new employees; coordinating and managing office events and meetings, including logistics and catering; liaising with building management and external vendors to manage office services and maintenance; assisting in financial administration tasks, including processing invoices and tracking office expenditures; ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures; and providing administrative support to executives and other team members as needed.
Required qualifications include 2-5 years of experience in office administration or a related role; high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred; strong organizational and multitasking skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills; and experience in the energy sector or a similar industry is a plus.
