Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a hospital setting
• Conduct regular patient assessments and manage treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines for patient treatment
• Document patient interactions and treatment progress accurately
• Participate in hospital rounds and patient consultations
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment options
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal medicine
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Tennessee
• Strong clinical skills in hospital medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: 7p-7a, 7 on/7 off

Patient Census: 10-12 admissions per night

Duties: Admissions and cross cover

No procedures required

Support Staff: APP

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

DEA & ACLS required

Paid travel & expenses
