Accounting Clerk

A company in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a Temporary Accounting Clerk . This is a full time, temporary 6-week assignment with flexible start and end time hours . The ideal candidate will have expereince with QuickBooks.
Responsibilities
- Support daily accounting and administrative operations
- Process and maintain accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with invoicing, payment tracking, and collections follow-up
- Enter and update financial data accurately within accounting software
- Reconcile records and help identify discrepancies
- Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation
- Provide clerical support for accounts payable and general accounting functions as needed
- Assist with reporting and data management projects
- Collaborate with accounting leadership to prioritize workload and improve efficiency
- Perform additional administrative and accounting-related tasks as assigned
- High school diploma
- Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk, Accounting Assistant, Accounts Receivable, or similar support role
- Working knowledge of accounts receivable processes preferred
- Experience using QuickBooks preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- $20- $22 per hour
- 6 week temporary assignment
- 100% onsite in Simpsonville, SC
- Monday to Friday - standard business hours but flexible on start and end times
