Litigation Attorney

A growing litigation firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its team supporting the Concord, California office. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who enjoy handling complex litigation matters while maintaining the flexibility of a remote-capable position . Attorneys in this role will manage cases from inception through resolution and have the opportunity to work on a variety of defense matters while collaborating with an experienced litigation team. Key Responsibilities Handle insurance defense matters involving personal injury litigation Manage cases from initial evaluation through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery Conduct depositions and attend hearings Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation Maintain strong communication with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel Preferred Experience 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience Strong background in personal injury defense Additional experience in landlord/tenant habitability, medical malpractice, or construction defect is a plus Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload What This Opportunity Offers Remote work flexibility with occasional in-person appearances as required Competitive salary based on experience Signing bonus available for the right candidate Opportunity to work with an established defense team on meaningful litigation matters This role is ideal for attorneys looking for autonomy, flexibility, and the ability to work on substantive litigation matters while remaining connected to a strong legal team.
