Forward Deployed Software Engineer - New York City (Hybrid) We’re partnering with a venture backed AI startup transforming how one of the world’s largest and most operationally complex industries handles mission critical workflows. They’re now hiring a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers and help deploy AI-powered workflows into real-world operational environments. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who enjoys: Solving ambiguous operational problems Working directly with enterprise customers Building production systems quickly and pragmatically Operating at the intersection of software, AI, product, and customer success You’ll: Deploy and customize AI-powered workflows for enterprise customers Build integrations into external systems and third-party data sources Work across backend services, APIs, data workflows, and customer-facing tooling Partner closely with customers to understand operational requirements Help shape both the product and implementation strategy as the company scales Python, FastAPI/Django, PostgreSQL, React, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, LLM APIs, and document-processing pipelines. We’re looking for engineers who are: Strong technically and comfortable shipping production systems Customer oriented with excellent communication skills Energized by ambiguity and startup environments Excited about applying AI to real operational workflows Experience in solutions engineering, implementation engineering, enterprise software, AI systems, or forward deployed roles is particularly relevant.
