This full-time position involves working directly with patients to aid their recovery and improve their quality of life through personalized physical therapy interventions.

Work Environment

This position will be based onsite at our Rehabilitation Facility in Reston, Virginia, where a patient-focused approach drives all our activities. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic tools and resources, providing an optimal setting for hands-on treatments, rehabilitation exercises, and technology-assisted modalities. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, either from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and design tailored treatment plans based on individual diagnoses.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including exercise, stretching techniques, hands-on manual therapy, and specialized equipment, to help alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Implement and monitor individualized treatment strategies aimed at achieving clinical goals, ensuring patients can regain independence and function.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, responses to treatment, and any modifications to therapy plans.
• Regularly reassess patient conditions and adapt treatment protocols to reflect changing needs and progress.
• Educate clients, families, and caregiver teams on the use of assistive devices and necessary techniques for enhancing day-to-day functionality.
• Stay current with best practices by participating in workshops, educational seminars, and professional networks.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Current and valid state licensure to practice in Virginia.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical setting.
• Proficient communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and word processing software.
• A flexible mindset that allows for agility in adapting to various patient needs and treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
