Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and facility administrators to coordinate mental health treatment plans and follow up on patient progress both within and outside the facility.

• Deliver mental health in-service training tailored for medical, psychiatric, and security staff members on an as-needed basis, enriching their understanding of psychological issues and interventions.
\n
• Proactively intervene and defuse mental health crises, helping to provide immediate support and stabilization for clients in distress.
\n
• Attend commitment hearings as required, representing the clinic and advocating for the best interests of our clients.
\n
• Design individualized treatment plans and therapeutic goals for each patient, taking into account their unique histories, strengths, and challenges.
\n
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Verify and assess past mental health histories, including any psychotropic medications that may influence treatment decisions.
\n
• Compile regular reports and special assessments as needed to communicate patient progress and clinical outcomes to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with nursing and mental health teams to facilitate effective post-release referrals, ensuring continuous care beyond initial treatment.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
