Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based psychotherapy to adults across a diverse spectrum of ages, diagnoses, and presenting problems. Your expertise is vital in tailoring treatment plans that address individual patient needs.

• Collaborate closely with clinic psychiatrists and child psychiatry fellows to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, optimizing treatment outcomes.

• Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students or supervising residents in psychotherapy training, if desired, contributing to the development of the next generation of mental health professionals.

• Attend scheduled meetings and patient staffing to discuss cases, share insights, and advocate for patient care improvements within the Hospice Center.

• Document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, treatment plans, and therapy progress notes, in a timely and accurate manner consistent with department policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in this role, you will primarily serve a patient population dealing with terminal illness and other complex health issues. Your focus will be on providing empathetic support, counseling, and therapeutic interventions to both patients and their families. This critical support is essential in navigating the emotional challenges that accompany serious illness, promoting overall well-being, and enhancing quality of life during difficult times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid LCSW license for practicing in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary package ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
