This role oversees all aspects of HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and workforce planning. The Human Resources Director develops and implements HR policies, ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, and advises leaders on organizational design and change management. Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching managers on people-related matters, managing benefits and compensation programs, supporting training and development initiatives, and fostering an inclusive, high-engagement workplace culture. The role collaborates closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with Evercare’s mission and values of care and compassion. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in human resources leadership, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. Proficiency in talent acquisition and retention strategies, including workforce planning and employer branding. Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and regulatory compliance relevant to the United States and the state of Illinois. Ability to design and manage compensation, benefits, and HR programs that support engagement and well-being. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams. Experience leading change initiatives and supporting a culture of care, compassion, inclusion, and psychological safety. Proficiency with HRIS platforms, reporting, and data-driven decision-making to inform HR strategies and metrics. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR) is preferred. Prior experience as an HR Director or senior HR leader in a mission-driven or care-focused organization is highly beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
