Job Description
Join our team as an Assembler, where you will be responsible for producing high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell. This role involves detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery, adhering to documented procedures. Your tasks may include electronic assembly, casting, mechanical assembly, and packaging. You will work in a controlled cleanroom environment, using tools such as microscopes, hand tools, and specialized equipment.
Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices and related components.
• Clean tools and equipment according to documented procedures.
• Perform visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies.
• Conduct tests on units using computerized test equipment.
• Repair and correct devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools.
• Package devices ensuring all parts are accurate and documentation is complete.
• Maintain accurate records to ensure traceability and address quality issues.
• Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices and equipment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly and machine operation.
• Familiarity with medical device production and cleanroom environments.
• Basic English proficiency.
• 6 months of manufacturing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment
Work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment with microscopes and other specialized equipment. Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to a dress code that excludes suggestive or revealing clothing. Jeans are permitted if they are professionally appropriate with no rips, holes, or stains. Jewelry, makeup, false eyelashes, and extensions are not allowed.
Additional Information:
Regardless of shift, the first day of work is always orientation from 7am-3:30pm.
1st Shift: 5am or 6am to 1:30pm or 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, frequent mandatory Saturdays
2nd Shift: 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday, frequent mandatory Saturdays, must be able to train on 1st shift for up to 3 months
3rd Shift: 9pm to 5:30am, Sunday through Thursday, must be able to train on 1st shift for up to 3 months
Must be available for mandatory OT on the back end of the shift
**There is a possibility that some candidates will be moved to a 9/80 shift after training based on current need.**
Operator I: 6 months of manufacturing experience needed
Operator II: 3-4 years of manufacturing experience
Operator III: 5+ years of manufacturing experience
1st Shift:
Operator I : Pay is $19.25/hr
Operator II: Pay is $20.00/hr
Operator III: Pay is $20.75/hr
2nd Shift:
Operator I : Pay is $21.18/hr
Operator II: Pay is $22.00/hr
Operator III: Pay is $22.83/hr

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $22.83/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
