Key Responsibilities of the RN – Med Surg

Provide nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting

Monitor patient conditions and administer medications

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic health records

Educate patients and families regarding health management

Requirements of the RN – Med Surg

Valid RN license in Louisiana

BLS certification

Previous experience in a Med Surg setting preferred
