TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Matthews, North Carolina, 28105!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg (Telemetry) Duration: 16 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Current Nursing License Required Certifications: BCLS, NIH, IV Start, Telemetry Must-Have: - Experience in Telemetry - Must maintain hand hygiene compliance of 75% - Must pass EKG testing prior to start Description: The unit is a 40-bed medical-surgical unit that provides twenty-four-hour inpatient care. The focus is on exemplary customer service and patient care. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The unit has an emphasis on bariatrics and orthopedics. The target nurse-to-patient ratio may fluctuate based on unit needs and daily census. Daily census is approximately 39 patients, with a capacity of 40 beds. Weekend requirement for staff is 2-3 shifts within a 6-week period. Floating within or near the facility is required as part of the job description. Travelers must be available all week for hospital orientation. Skilled interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Navy or white scrubs are required, which are not provided. Pre-approved time off policies apply, with limitations during the first week of employment.
