Position: Healthcare Transactional Associate (Attorney) Experience: 3 – 6 years Location: New York, New York or Chicago, Illinois Employment Type: Full-Time Overview A top Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Healthcare Transactional Associate to join its New York or Chicago office. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly regarded Healthcare Group, advising clients on complex and high-value healthcare transactions and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate has strong transactional experience in the healthcare space, excellent analytical and writing skills, and the ability to navigate sophisticated regulatory frameworks. Responsibilities Advise clients on healthcare-related transactions and corporate structuring Provide guidance on federal and multi-state healthcare regulatory matters Assist with regulatory filings and compliance requirements Analyze and apply key healthcare statutes, including Stark Law, Anti‑Kickback Statute, and HIPAA Support clients on day-to-day regulatory issues impacting healthcare and life sciences companies Collaborate with clients, sponsors, and internal teams on strategic matters Qualifications J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school 3–6 years of healthcare transactional experience Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks and compliance Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills Strong academic credentials Admission to the New York or Illinois Bar (in good standing) Competitive salary ($260,000 – $390,000) plus bonus potential.
