Senior Accountant

A well-established, global organization in the manufacturing/distribution space is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its corporate accounting team. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad accounting role, wants exposure to leadership, and is looking to be part of a stable company with an international footprint. This person will work closely with the Controller and broader finance team on month-end close, financial reporting support, reconciliations, process improvement, and a variety of accounting projects. The role offers a nice mix of core accounting responsibilities, cross-functional visibility, and the opportunity to help improve systems, controls, and reporting processes as the company continues to evolve. Responsibilities Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, account analysis, and preparation of supporting schedules Assist with financial statement preparation and review to ensure accurate reporting Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across key accounts Support fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and related controls Assist with cash and bank account reconciliations Partner with domestic and international finance teams on intercompany activity and related reconciliations Support internal and external audit requests, including preparation of schedules and documentation Assist with internal controls, process documentation, and opportunities to strengthen accounting procedures Help evaluate and improve ERP/system workflows to create efficiencies within the accounting function Participate in ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects for the Controller and finance leadership team What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally within public accounting, manufacturing, distribution, or a corporate accounting environment Strong understanding of month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting support Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets ERP experience preferred CPA or CPA track is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines Team-oriented personality with the ability to communicate effectively across departments Someone who is curious, process-minded, and excited to take ownership within a growing accounting function Why This Opportunity Stands Out Broad Senior Accountant role with visibility to the Controller Exposure to both domestic and international accounting activities Opportunity to work for a stable, established company with a global presence Strong mix of technical accounting, close, reconciliations, audit support, and process improvement Great fit for someone coming out of public accounting or a corporate accounting role who wants more ownership and long-term growth potential #J-18808-Ljbffr
